Several new photos were released today featuring Heath Ledger as The Joker in the upcoming "The Dark Knight." The makeup is a curious choice--Ledger looks a hot mess--but since the film is being directed by Christopher Nolan, who directed the excellent "Batman Begins," we're willing to give this the benefit of the doubt.
