"Owen Wilson is “hilarious” (ABC-TV) in the outrageous comedy from the guys behind Superbad and Knocked Up about a group of kids who get fed up with being harassed by the school bully and decide to hire their own private bodyguard. The former soldier of fortune (Wilson) isn’t all that he seems, however, and the kids learn some offbeat lessons in both self-defense and self-respect. Produced by Judd Apatow (Superbad), DRILLBIT TAYLOR was written by Seth Rogen (Knocked Up) and Kristofor Brown (“Undeclared”). The film also stars Nate Hartley (“iCarly”), Troy Gentile (Good Luck Chuck) and David Dorfman (The Ring Two) as the hapless kids taken under their budget bodyguard’s wing. The DRILLBIT TAYLOR Extended Survival Edition DVD and Blu-ray presentations feature footage not seen in theaters, plus a host of deleted and extended scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, commentary by director Steven Brill, writer Kristofor Brown and actors Nate Hartley, Troy Gentile and David Dorfman, a gag reel and much more. The film also will be available on DVD in its original theatrical version with select special features."
